Benefits of Online Magazine

According to the webmarketinf group (2010), Online magazines have a lot of adventages for three groups of people which are customers, publishers, and advertisers. For example, online magazines are available everywhere, so it is easy to connect with customers. Moreover, for publishers, online magazines cost lower than paper magazines and they does not have space limitation to write the articles. For advertising, they can access to a wider target audience.

In my opinion, online magazines have a lot of advantages, so it is easy to connect with people and thr publisher may get more readers than paper magazines.

Number of Internet Users to Surpass 2 Billion by the End of the year

According to the United Nations Telecommunication Agency (2010), internet users in worldwide have increased more than five years ago and nearly become more than 2 billion at the end of 2010, around 226 million new users come from developing countries. Some of that come from people who access at home and some from access at work or public location in both developed and developing countries said by ITU (the international Telecommunication Union).

In my opinion, I am not surprised that they have more increased of new internet users because internet become a part of people lifes and people use it for everything such as finding information, advertising their stuffs. The interesting information in this article is the number of users that nearly 2 billion users and I think it will become more and more in a few month. This article is a formal article because it is the news from UN. It has to show many people, so some vocabulary is more foemal than other articles. I use this information for my term paper about the number of internet users are in nowaday and to show that a lots of people is inrested in it.

Magazines 'need age rating'

According to BBC news (2004), girls’ magazines should be limited age of the reader to protect children to read about unsuitable substance. There are many reasons that magazines should have an age rating. Firstly, they affect to ‘Promiscuous behavior’. Magazines sometimes give some free gifts, like a lip gloss, a CD or something that aimed at a pre-teenager reader, but they are wrong. These ideas are very misinformed (Periodical Publishers Association [PPA]). Mr. Surman, the father of three girls aged four, seven and 10, said that magazines were not the place for children to learn about sex. Children spend more times reading them during their free time, so parents should realize what their children are reading. Secondly, they affected to ‘Better education’. Schools and health worker help each other to improve sex education, but some children learn about it in the magazines and they think like everyone might do it too, so it is not a good thing. Mr. Surman, of Cantrell Primary School, said that we should have a certification system in place for magazine like films, videos and computer games have. The last one is 'Unworkable'. A certification system would be impractical and unworkable (PPA). While children could not buy the magazines, they could buy something else in the internet, so it is not easy to limit an age rating of magazines’ reader. In conclusion, a thing that parents should do must be taking care of their children more than now for prevent their children from unsuitable content in the Girls’ magazines.
